Visit to Sayre, August 1996
In August I took some time off and packed my nephews and myself off the Sayre, PA. I know, I know... WhereInTheHellIsSayrePA? Well it's a little town right on the Pennsylvania/New York state border, about 30 miles from Corning, NY(you know, the glass folks?)
Anyway, we all went back to rendezvous with my sister, Joan and visit with my parent and sister Peg. While there, we were all drafted into 'The First Annual Burkhart Garage and Rummage Sale'. We figure it will be 'anual' for about fifty years, or so, since that's about how long it will take to sell off all the stuff we have accumulated over the 50-some years the Burkharts have lived in the house.
We had a great time setting up and I got a chance to visit my fraternity brother, Mark, in East Stroudsburg.
